PhD Research Trip - Fieldwork

In 2017, as part of my PhD research for RMIT university, I travelled to Germany in order to undertake field research into the Berlin Trümmerberg (rubble mountains) that would lead to the creation and exhibition of new work (Shut Up Mountain at c3 Artspace).  I subsequently spent four months in Berlin revisiting the sites that were layered with significant personal memory for me, and simultaneously held a historical fascination.
